2010 AMC August Camp

Rates, Registration, and Cancellation Policy

weeks: 7/17 - 7/24; 7/24 - 7/31; 7/31 - 8/7; 8/7 - 8/14

Weeks 1, 2, 4 and 4 of the 2010 August Camp are completely filled at present.

If your registration has been SENT but NOT ACCEPTED due to unavailability of space, the Registrar will contact you by email. Wait lists for weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 are being compiled. Send your $200 deposit and registration form to the Registrar. Your check will be held until a space opens up. If no space becomes available your check will be returned. If you DO NOT hear from the Registrar via email your application HAS BEEN ACCEPTED.

Rates

Fee for two weeks - adult/child - $1600 (non-member adult/child $1650)
Fee for one week - adult/child - $825 (non-member adult/child $875)

Deposit of $200 must be included with application

Deposit will be put toward the total cost of camp

NOTES:

Fee does NOT INCLUDE airfare. Transportation to camp from (and back to) the Calgary Airport (YYC) is provided.

Cancellation, Payment and Refund Policy:

A complete Camper Information Packet will be sent early in April
- The Registrar will not contact you previous to that time unless there is a problem.
- If you need verification of your placement please contact the Registrar - email: registrar@augustcamp.org
Balance of payment due June 1, 2010.
- One week AMC member- $625.
- Two week AMC member- $1400
- Non-member add $50
If a cancellation is postmarked prior to March 1, all but $50/person will be refunded. ·
If a cancellation is postmarked between March 1 and June 1, all but $200/person will be refunded. ·
For cancellations postmarked after June 1, but at least 31 days prior to the first Saturday for which a person is registered, 50% of payment in excess of $200/person will be refunded. ·
No refunds will be given for cancellations received within 30 days of the first Saturday for which a person is registered.
Cancellations e-mailed to registrar@augustcamp.org within the above dates will be accepted.

NOTE: Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

August Camp strictly adheres to the above cancellation and refund policy.

Restrictions:

Camp facilities and activities are not suitable for children under 10. All under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children can have an especially good time at camp if they are avid outdoor enthusiasts. There is only one rate for persons attending camp.

Campers will be charged for the full session for which they have registered, regardless of late arrival or early departure.
